Central Michigan has one of the finest indoor facilities in the Midwest in the Jack Skoog Indoor Track, and now they have a world-class facility! In August of this year, Central Michigan got a new 200-meter Mondo Super X 720 track installed that features eight running lanes and our Patented IST. Super X 720 is a world-class product and is the same track surface that has been used in the Olympic Games. A custom maroon color was chosen for the Mondo track to highlight one of the main school colors for CMU.
“We chose Mondo over our previous product because we want to provide our student-athletes opportunities to train in a world-class facility and Mondo is a world-class product. With the goals of moving our program forward to being a nationally recognized program, we felt Mondo was the first step in the process. Our athletes now have a safe product to run on that will also provide a higher level of performance.”
